摘 要 近年來台灣地區工商業快速成長，使得工業廢棄物成為主要的環保問題之一。根據推估，到民國90年時，廢棄車輛產生量每年約400,000輛，而且廢機動車輛粉碎殘餘物（ASR）的年產量由87年的39,000噸增加至民國90年的80,000噸，之後亦會持續增加。因為，台灣僅有幾座燃燒ASR的焚化爐，所以目前的回收體系和處理系統面臨了瓶頸，故ASR的處理儼然已成為一個重要的問題。 ASR的成分複雜，包括塑膠、金屬、玻璃、橡膠等，其高熱值約4187Kcal/kg。旋轉式焚化爐在燃燒固、液、氣相和有毒廢棄物的使用上相當廣泛

。本研究乃利用"TEMPRO"軟體來模擬一座實際尺寸的旋轉窯式焚化爐，並且求出其最佳操作條件。為了將爐內複雜的現象以數學的方式來計算，反應物或生成物的高熱值以經驗公式計算，且同時考慮高溫時的輻射效應，故將燃燒室的壁面和燃燒產物假設為灰體，如此即可估算出溫度場、停留時間、等值比、轉數、填料體積比等之相互關係。
