, crashed her car and was instantly paralysed from the chest down. Rushed to hospital, everything she had dreamed for her life was instantly forgotten and her journey to rediscover herself and build a different life began. But being told she would never walk again would come to be the least of her c

oncerns. Over the next eighteen years, as she strived to come to terms with the change in her body, her relationships were put to the test; she has had to learn to cope with the many unexpected and unpredictable setbacks of living with paralysis; she has had to overcome her own and other people’s pe

Driving Forwards is a remarkable and powerful memoir, detailing Sophie’s life-changing injury, her recovery, and her life since. Strikingly honest, her story is

unusual and yet relatable, inspiring us to see how adversity can be channelled into opportunity and how ongoing resilience can ultimately lead to empowerment. ’Raw, life affirming and gorgeously written - this book is filled with extraordinary honesty, courage and warmth. ?? Today Max and I went off to Cat Ba. It all started with a weird road that Google Maps took us on. Then we got to the ferry where all hell broke loose as we were bombarded by ladies selling banh my, corn, tea, coffee, and beer. From there it got even stranger as we had a bathroom meeting, and met a very strange man who tried to convince us to stay at his apartment... Come and see for yourself.

Ancestral Grimoire: Connect with the Wisdom of the Ancestors Through Tarot, Oracles, and Magic

A practical workbook for connecting with ancestors and their magical powers so you can create your own ancestral spell book.Connect with Your Past to Create Your Own Personal Book of Shadows. Most of us know the people who gave us life and even a generation or two beyond. But few are attuned to those

who lived earlier. Strange, for a culture who loves storytelling, that we have forgotten how to keep our own stories alive for much more than a hundred years. This is where the ancestors come in and where this book begins. This book is a guide to reconnecting with your ancestors. It will show reade

rs how to access their ancestor’s unique wisdom--their magic--and create an ancestors’ grimoire, a spell book or "book of shadows," unique to their heritage. Each month, January through December, you will complete exercises that will introduce you to a specific ancestor. Through divination, intuitio

n, and sometimes a little luck, you will learn the magic of each ancestor and how you can use their gifts to make your life a little richer, a little more fulfilling. For those who practice an Earth-centric spirituality, we’ve also included the eight sabbats as they fall within the months of a solar

year. Each month, you’ll save your ancestral work in a journal or loose-leaf binder that will become your Ancestral Grimoire--the place to store the stories, spells, rituals, everyday life, the lore, and legend of twelve of your ancestors. In addition, at the end of each month you’ll encounter a ch

allenge that may surprise you. At the end of a year, you will hold a personal Book of Shadows, where every bit of ancestral knowledge within its pages is unique to you. No two will ever be alike. In an age when family storytelling has been lost, you will have created a legacy--and a life--that the A

ncestors could only dream of. Nancy Hendrickson is the author of Ancestral Tarot, a book that combines tarot skills with deep ancestral work. Her published work includes several genealogy books and magazine articles. A columnist for The Cartomancer Magazine, where she writes about tarot decks o

f the past, as well as tarot from a cultural perspective, Nancy has appeared on several podcasts including Archetypal Tarot, Wildly Tarot, Witch with Me, Tarot Bytes, and the Weiser Books Radio Hou
