英語電子繪本融入不同角色扮演模式對國小四年級學童故事理解、閱讀動機、閱讀投入及英語能力之影響

單向教學及單一課本內容難以使學習者持續專注於課堂,因此使用繪本並將教材數位化是目前提升閱讀動機的教學趨勢,但過多不適合的多媒體效果反而可能會中斷學童的閱讀歷程。本研究將不同角色扮演的機制融入電子繪本閱讀活動中,研究對象為65位臺北市某國小四年級學生,將其分為三組:合作角色扮演組(簡稱為合作組)、合作融入表情自拍角色扮演組(簡稱為合作融入自拍組)、個別角色扮演組(簡稱為個別組),探討這三組學習者分別透過不同角色扮演方式閱讀英語電子繪本後,在故事理解、閱讀動機、閱讀投入及英語能力之表現。研究結果顯示合作融入自拍組的閱讀動機、閱讀投入與口說能力顯著高於合作組與個別組,可能是電子繪本故事裡的角色為學

習者依據故事情節變化所自拍的頭像,能幫助學童融入故事內容並揣摩角色情緒,更勇於將自己的台詞念出,進而有較好的語調及發音。此外,合作組與合作融入自拍組,在故事理解及英語能力的表現都高於個別組,可能是因為透過小組合作進行角色扮演,高成就學童能領導小組共同討論,因而釐清繪本中不懂之字句。最後根據上述結果進行討論與建議,以供後續相關研究或教學參考。

結合PEER親子共讀策略之擴增實境輔助繪本之研究

親子共讀對於兒童教育是相當重要的,過去研究發現,兒童若能從早期開始培養閱讀的習慣,對兒童未來的識字能力發展、口語表達相當有幫助。然而,卻有許多父母因工作忙碌沒辦法一起親子共讀,過去已有學者研究透過擴增實境閱讀能引起兒童的注意力,但在過去的研究中較多為如何提升學習者閱讀動機,較少學習成效的成果的探討。因此本研究主要目的為探討擴增實境結合PEER (Prompt提示、Expand擴大、Evaluate評估、Repeat重複)對話式閱讀,是否提升學習成效。本研究以苗栗市幼兒園的學齡前56位兒童為研究參與者,並將兒童分為兩組,分別為父母閱讀繪本組(控制組)、擴增實境閱讀繪本組(實驗組)。兩組皆以相同

繪本進行閱讀,在閱讀內容形式上父母閱讀繪本組是以父母在旁伴讀的形式閱讀;擴增實境閱讀繪本組則是使用擴增實境疊加PEER對話式教材進行閱讀。根據研究結果顯示,擴增實境閱讀繪本組在學習成效比較時,兒童的閱讀學習優於父母閱讀繪本組,而在系統操作之部分,除了系統連線時間需要改進之外,兒童皆對擴增實境有正向良好的使用態度。在經由兩個星期後的延宕測驗結果顯示,使用擴增實境閱讀繪本的兒童亦有良好的學習保留程度。
