近年來建築資訊模型(Building Information Modeling,BIM)於營建產業中已是一種必不可缺之技術,透過BIM技術可將建築物以視覺化呈現方式進行BIM模型之各項分析、檢討以及溝通協調等應用並且有效改善於實際工程中之困難,然於目前國內各營造廠執行BIM專案時常因須配合工程之執行進度導致BIM模型建置時間有限,故大多數營造廠於建置BIM模型時常以協同作業之形式進行,透過多人同時作業並以協同作業模式執行工程專案,不僅可促進團隊間專業資訊交流亦可更加有效率的執行工程專案以達到縮短作業時間之成效,然而目前於BIM團隊內之協同作業管理機制仍未有一套良好的模式,以至於BIM經理時常

無法及時的掌控BIM工程師之BIM模型作業內容,這也導致執行BIM模型建置作業時可能造成BIM模型建置進度延後、作業內容重複等問題,BIM團隊內部亦有分工不明確、溝通協調不足亦或是若需遠距、異地執行BIM協同作業時BIM團隊將無法即時同步溝通協調等問題,而目前市面上各資訊公司或是工程公司所研發之BIM協同作業平台大多為針對土建專案各階段中角色之協作為主,缺乏於施工階段BIM團隊內部執行BIM模型建置之協同管理平台,故本研究將透過文獻回顧以及專家訪談探討目前營造廠端施工階段BIM團隊執行BIM協同作業管理之問題以及需求並進行BIM工作協同管理模式之規劃研擬以及於此模式執行BIM專案時之管理流程;
