本研究主要探討有機酸溶液對銦鎵鋅氧化物(Indium gallium zinc oxide,以下簡稱為IGZO)薄膜的電化學反應,期望透過此研究,增加對IGZO薄膜表面特性的了解。本研究首先利用溶膠–凝膠法(sol-gel process)和水熱合成法配置出IGZO的前驅物溶液,並利用刮刀塗佈法將IGZO前驅物溶液塗佈於PET上,成膜後經由XRD確認其為非晶相,再探討有機酸溶液對非晶相IGZO之電化學效應,應用的電化學檢測技術包含開環電位測試與線性掃瞄伏安法,探討何種有機酸最容易進行腐蝕反應,並經由DLS雷射粒徑分析儀及SEM電子顯微鏡觀察表面粒徑及結構、EDS元素分析儀了解表面元素分布情況

及AFM原子力顯微鏡分析表面粗糙度。實驗使用三種方法進行平坦化,第一種是直接施以正電位單階段處理,第二種則是先通以負電位後再施加正電進行兩階段處理,最後一種是只通以負電位進行處理;研究結果發現,在0.01M濃度下進行平坦化的實驗中,兩階段處理可使薄膜的粗糙度改善最多,其中草酸的效果表現最為明顯。
